HOW TO CHOOSE A SENSIBLE
AFFILIATE PROGRAM OR MLM OPPORTUNITY
Choose an affiliate program or an MLM opportunity that offers product(s) or
service(s) that meet the needs of your customers or potential customers. The
product(s) or service(s) must to be high quality and the company must provide
excellent customer service.
The affiliate program or MLM opportunity must be a reputable business. This
is very important to maintain credibility with your customers and potential
customers. Bad news can travel very quickly and word of mouth is still one
of the very best ways to advertise. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably
is. Example: Make a million dollars every day while you sleep!
Good affiliate programs are free and good MLM opportunities can be free or
very inexpensive. Think twice if you are being asked to pay an outrageous
fee to join. Example: Membership Fee $500.00 a month automatically deducted
from your checking account. What exactly is that membership fee for? What
are you getting? Is it worth it? Will you most likely be making money or losing
money?
If you already have your own website or online business, and would like
to add an affiliate program or MLM opportunity to market on your website,
ideally the program or opportunity you add should compliment your current
website.
Even if there is "no selling involved," you still must get or find customers.
So to be successful there will be work involved. In other words, you can't do
nothing and expect to still make money. However your method of obtaining
customers must be legal and done with integrity.
Affiliate programs and MLM opportunities can be very profitable and beneficial
to you and your customers, if chosen wisely and the appropriate time and effort
is put into them. This does not necessarily mean the program or opportunity will
take up a lot of your time. How much time is required depends on the opportunity,
the person's knowledge and goals (pertaining to the program or opportunity), and
even a person's personality or capabilities, such as the ability to easily persuade
others.
